Never liked caramel, never thought I would. As soon as I see caramel on a menu, I go to something else, unless it's caramelised onions or something. But today my non-caramel world has been turned upside down. I was told by the manager at Nood, Genevieve, that this is not your everyday caramel. I was still going to move on, then she told me what it was made of. Cashews, dates, salt. On banana bread with large bits of walnuts and my need for honey for a sore throat, it's amazing.
